Two Lives, Two Houses, Two Destinies – Sermon – December 30 2012

Jesus is talking about our response to his word – whether we will do it or not?  The two lives of two men, both of them hear his word as believers, but there are only possible ways to respond to his teachings and words – Either you hear his words and do them, or you hear his words and don’t do them. Nothing in between.  What type of a Man are You?  What type of a house are you building, one on a deep foundation on rock, o r on the ground without a foundation?  What is meaning of a “house”  in the story?  Why is on man a fool and the other wise in this story?  What is the “Storm” that Jesus is talking about in this story?
