Go for the Golden Streets – Sermon – August 12 2012
The Christian life, according to the Bible, is a race, or, it is like a race. Sometimes we have steep hills to climb, difficult and challenging times in our life! And at times like these we may be tempted to quit, give up on Christianity, “It’s too hard!” And inner voice might whisper to us – Why keep on running? Why endure the pain? Why remain a Christian? What’s the great benefit of Christianity anyway? So – today – then – what does our Coach, our Team Captain, our great and mighty God say to us runners today about our race, about our Christian life? What awaits us at the finish line?
