When we read in Leviticus 19:31 in the Old Testament where God says:  “Do not turn to mediums or wizards; do not seek them out, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God”, You might say – But that was then Pastor, pertaining to when the Israelites came into the promised land and God warned them not to follow the practices of the people in the land, We don’t have that stuff now do we?  Are we so different from the ancient world?

What can we say about some of the modern forms of Wizardry and Pseudo-spiritual things,  such as Palm readings, Spiritists, Quiji Boards or Tarot Card Readings?  Or how about entertainment such as Harry Potter books,  or the Twilight Series, or even things like Horoscopes?   Can they affect us and our Faith?  Do these things offend our God?  How and Why does God speak to us today on these topics?
