Mary – Mother of Jesus – Sermon – December 19 2010

Mary,  Mother of Jesus – Sermon – December 19 2010

Why do the Roman Catholic church pray to Mary, the mother of Jesus?  Why is this a Sin?  Does scripture tell us that Mary was sinless, or that she was a Sinner?  When Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant”,  why does Mary need a Savior if she is without sin?  What does She/Mary need to be saved from?  And now the question, how far should we go with exalting Mary?  In what other ways does the Roman Catholic church err, in over exalting and praying to Mary?
