Our Christ Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School theme is , “Space Quest – Children will be blasting off on a mission to Explore the Bible”, and enjoy participating in fun activities, arts & crafts! And below the Video, you can learn a little bit more about what the children will experience the rest of the week.
Children are welcome to come join us, during our last 3 days. Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Rockledge, Merritt Island, Titusville, Melbourne, Viera, Brevard County are welcome!
We have an outdoor Rocket launch (Coke two liter bottle launching station), which blasts into the air 75 feet or perhaps more. And the Children get to see the power of Water and Air blast a plastic bottle into the air. The Children learn about God’s power, who creates these technologies and gifts.
Children get to hear an actual Space Launch countdown, and also learn about God’s creation of Space, the Planets the Solar systems.
Arts and Crafts, where the children can use we water color techniques to create their own “Earth” artwork, and make rockets and stars to mount to their own cardboard core. (hard to explain here)
Special programming on our Big Screen, to share some of God’s messages along with the Joyful teaching of Pastor Greg, as he teaches the children about God’s power in creating all things.
And the kids are not just inside, they also get to spend some time on our beautiful riverfront property as they run around a bit, chasing down the launched 2 liter coke bottle plastic rocket to recover it.
Learning about God’s many wonderful gifts as the Children have a fun time together.
