How the Devil Uses and Abuses Scripture – Sermon August 11 2013

Does Satan ever twist scripture to deceive us and influence our daily actions?

How cunning is Satan, when it comes to telling us lies, or twisting scripture? Why is it important for you and me to be in the Bible each day?   Don’t we know it well enough already?

The Shoes of a Christian Soldier – Sermon – October 05 2008

The Shoes of a Christian Soldier – Sermon – October 05 2008

What does this whole Armor of God thing mean in Scripture that the Apostle Paul talks about?

Are Christians Violent people?  Why this discussion about Armor and Weaponry?

Why are we worried about different pieces of a soldier’s armor back during early New Testament Biblical times, like during the Apostle Paul’s day?  Why does Paul bring Armor up in the New Testament?

Who are we supposed to be fighting or prepared to fight?  Where does Paul get this idea about the different pieces of Armor?  Where was Apostle Paul, when he wrote down his message about the Armor of God?  For this Sermon, what are the Shoes of a Christian Shoulder?  Is this a Metaphor? What are they used for?  How can the Shoes of a Christian Soldier protect us?

Listen for these questions and answers about “The Shoes of a Christian Soldier”, in the 1-part MP3 Audio Sermon below.

Scriptures below are from the church bulletin used in the Sermon:

Psalm 40: 1-5, 9-10, 17,  Isaiah 52: 1-10,  Romans 10: 5-17,  Mark 6: 1-13

11-02-08-A man praying for America with our Flag behind himAIR SUPERIORITY – (Prayer for America,- the election) – Sermon – November 02 2008

Is it right to pray for our country?  Is it right to pray , God Bless America?  Is it right to pray to God for His divine hand on our nation?  Is it right to pray for our Leaders?  Are we required to obey God’s law over Man’s law ever?

What did God tell the people of Israel in the book of Jeremiah when captured, taken over and exiled to Babylon?  What did God tell to Lot, when God was getting ready to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah?

How has in recent days when we moved “In God We Trust” to the edge of our coins, Bible out of classrooms, prayer out of our schools,  Islam prayer allowed in schools,  10 commandments out of our court houses,  how has this turned America back from the Christian heritage of it forefathers?

Psalm 75

‘1 We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near;
people tell of your wonderful deeds.

2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;
it is I who judge with equity.

3 When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.[b]

4 To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.[c]

5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak so defiantly.’”

6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.

7 It is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.

8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
full of foaming wine mixed with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
drink it down to its very dregs.

9 As for me, I will declare this forever;
I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,

10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”’
