Should A Christian Be A Freemason? – Sermon – March 30 2014

Image used for bulletin for Sermon - Should a Christian Be A FreemasonQuestions that will be answered in the Sermon:

Should a Christian be a Freemason, or not?  Do we need to test Freemasonry by the Word of God – to see if Freemasonry is right or wrong, good or evil? What is it?  What does God say to us about it in His Holy Word?

How many Freemasons are there?  When did it begin?  How influential was Freemasonry in the formation of our Nation through our Fore-fathers?  Where does Satan work most of the time, in the dark, or in the light?  Is Freemasonry a religion or not?

Does Freemasonry have their own Gospel that they proclaim, or not?  Does Freemasonry teach about a different God?   Does the Freemason Bible actually show allegiance to Islam and the holy koran?

Christians want to be careful to avoid Meditation other than on the Word of God

Are you a Child of God, a Christian, and have considered Meditation, outside of reading and contemplating the Word of God from Holy Scripture?

Rick Warren’s Daniel Plan Accelerates – Tells Followers to Practice 4-7-8 Hinduistic Meditation A recent article online from Lighthouse Trails Research.com website shares how easy it is for a Christian to walk astray, by simply practicing Hindu breathing techniques used in meditation.  I have not done research about this website, but a Christian friend of mine of whom I have great respect for his Doctrine and Faith shared this article on Facebook, and it clearly shows the way of today’s modern church and the dangerous path they are leading, amongst many churches and denominations, in Seeker Sensitive and New Age practices.  See the story here:

Read 2 Thessalonians 2  here:

The Man of Lawlessness

2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

2 Thessalonians 2 (New International Version)

I hope that the Man of Lawlessness described in 2nd Thess 2 was helpful.

Why Are There So Many Denominations? – Sermon – August 18 2013

Why Are There So Many Denominations ? – (Example: ELCA and LCMS Differences ) – Sermon – August 18 2013

Ever wondered, why there are so many denominations in the world, so many divisions in the visible church of Christ on earth?  Shouldn’t we all just be one?  Can’t we all just agree?  Can any one denomination be right?  What should be our attitude toward people in other denominations?

What does God say to us about this in His Word?  Are we lowly, meek, enduring each other patiently with love in Christ?  If the basis for true unity in the church, according to Jesus Christ, is that we are all in agreement on the truth of God’s Word as it appears in the Bible, what is the trouble, that causes all the division amongst churches today?

Do any of the churches today, flatly deny the teachings of scripture and say God’s Word is in error?   What is the Historical Criticism approach to teaching the Bible, and how does it lead churches astray, and against the word of God, and therefore, against God?

Listen for these questions and answers about Why Are There So Many Denominations ? – (Example: ELCA and LCMS Differences ), below in the 1-part Video , or the 1-part Audio MP3 Sermon below the Video.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Did our Nations forefathers in faith speak much on the wrath of God?  Should we emphasize it when bringing others to Christ?  What does God say to us about the preaching of His wrath in today’s modern times?  Do we still need to emphasize it, and believe in it ourselves?   Why do we have so many “Seeker Sensitive” churchs in this country?   Do they leave out “The Wrath”, and if so, Why?   Is there a way to share and teach the Wrath of God, and still preach a great message about the Gospel?  What will happen to those people who are not taught about God’s Wrath?

Psalm 75

‘1 We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near;
people tell of your wonderful deeds.

2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;
it is I who judge with equity.

3 When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.[b]

4 To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.[c]

5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak so defiantly.’”

6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.

7 It is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.

8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
full of foaming wine mixed with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
drink it down to its very dregs.

9 As for me, I will declare this forever;
I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,

10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”’
