Should A Christian Be A Freemason? – Sermon – March 30 2014

Image used for bulletin for Sermon - Should a Christian Be A FreemasonQuestions that will be answered in the Sermon:

Should a Christian be a Freemason, or not?  Do we need to test Freemasonry by the Word of God – to see if Freemasonry is right or wrong, good or evil? What is it?  What does God say to us about it in His Holy Word?

How many Freemasons are there?  When did it begin?  How influential was Freemasonry in the formation of our Nation through our Fore-fathers?  Where does Satan work most of the time, in the dark, or in the light?  Is Freemasonry a religion or not?

Does Freemasonry have their own Gospel that they proclaim, or not?  Does Freemasonry teach about a different God?   Does the Freemason Bible actually show allegiance to Islam and the holy koran?

Why Are There So Many Denominations? – Sermon – August 18 2013

Why Are There So Many Denominations ? – (Example: ELCA and LCMS Differences ) – Sermon – August 18 2013

Ever wondered, why there are so many denominations in the world, so many divisions in the visible church of Christ on earth?  Shouldn’t we all just be one?  Can’t we all just agree?  Can any one denomination be right?  What should be our attitude toward people in other denominations?

What does God say to us about this in His Word?  Are we lowly, meek, enduring each other patiently with love in Christ?  If the basis for true unity in the church, according to Jesus Christ, is that we are all in agreement on the truth of God’s Word as it appears in the Bible, what is the trouble, that causes all the division amongst churches today?

Do any of the churches today, flatly deny the teachings of scripture and say God’s Word is in error?   What is the Historical Criticism approach to teaching the Bible, and how does it lead churches astray, and against the word of God, and therefore, against God?

Listen for these questions and answers about Why Are There So Many Denominations ? – (Example: ELCA and LCMS Differences ), below in the 1-part Video , or the 1-part Audio MP3 Sermon below the Video.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Band of Brothers – Bond of Peace – Church Unity – Sermon – January 06 2008

Band of Brothers – Bond of Peace – Church Unity – Sermon – January 06 2008

How Important is Unity within the Church?  How important is Unity with each other? Does God ask us to build each other up?  Every Member in the Church Body is Important, for they each have a gift and a function created by God.  This is so well illustrated by William Shakespeares’ play Henry the Fifth, when the British are in a battle with the Great French Army, and the British are highly outnumbered, the French are well supplied, and the British are temporarily cowering in fear, and the King shares his famous Saint Crispens Day speech with his friend Westmoreland. (just a part of the speech below)

“But we in this day we shall be remembered,
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.”

Scriptures from the church bulletin:

Ezekiel 37: 21-28, 1 Corinthians 12:4-20, John 17:1-3, 11-21

Code of honor as is shared by the Marines, Semper Fidelis

Important keywords:  Gossip, Unity without Truth, Individuals, Lone Ranger, depend on another, Satan tries to divide and conquer (Caesar) , little member, christian brotherhood

Listen to the  1-Part MP3 Audio Sermon below to learn how important Unity is within the Church Body and with each other.
