In The World But Not of The World – Sermon – September 04 2011

In this new sermon series, Living as a Christian In A Sinful World, what does it mean when we say Christians are to be in the world but of of the world?  Are Christians really different from other people on this earth?  How different are we?  Should we look different from the world?   What does God say, teach, and instruct us on these matters – on being in the world but not of the world?  First we need to look at Jesus, what was He like?  And what did He say when He was on earth, some 2000 years ago?  In order to be saved, Jesus says to be his own, we must also be from above, to be a citizen, so do we need a Passport?

I Am Not Ashamed – Jesus, The Only Way – Sermon – October 02 2011

I Am Not Ashamed – Jesus, The Only Way – Sermon – October 02 2011

Why are there so many scripture quotes, that speak about not being ashamed of the Gospel?  (like Romans 1: 16, or 2 Timothy 1: 8)   Why is there so much pressure on us from the world, to be ashamed of the Gospel, and believing it?   Why should we speak the Gospel boldly?  Why do we Christians feel the temptation to be ashamed?   Where does this shame come from?  Why should we say Jesus is the only way to Salvation and Everlasting Life?  Why have so many Celebrities denied Christ as the only Path to Salvation such as  Oprah Winfrey when she was live on her show, and Billy Graham on the Robert Schuller show on May 31, 1997?   Why have these celebrities been ashamed to admit Christ is the only path, and that Wrath and Damnation will come to those who do not accept Jesus Christ?
