Can You Endure Patiently In Suffering ? – Sermon – March 02 2014

Can You Endure Patiently In Suffering ? – Sermon – March 02 2014

Questions answered in the Sermon:

Think about this, No one, other than Christ, suffered so much as Paul in regards to beatings physically and attacks verbally, and yet, at the same time, no one rejoiced as much as Paul!   Isn’t that Strange? – Wouldn’t you think, that the one who suffers the most is the one who is most defeated, and most sorrowful?  The one who suffers the most is rejoicing the most?  What secrets did he , Paul, have, to rejoice even in his afflictions?  Do you think we can learn something from him?

Are you suffering today from something that has come into your life?  Are you groaning, moaning, wincing, bewailing your fate?  Are you prepared for the struggles, sufferings to come, whatever they may be – abuse/persecution for the gospel, loss of family, wealth, health, friends – as was the case with righteous Job?  Do you see God’s great purpose in your afflictions?  Do You believe God will rescue you from ALL your afflictions?

Listen for these questions and answers about Can You Endure Patiently In Suffering ?, below in the 1-part Video ,  or the one-part MP3 Audio Sermon.

Is God Still With Me Even In Bad Times ? – Sermon – February 23 2014

Is God Still With Me Even In Bad Times ? – Sermon – February 23 2014

Questions answered in the Sermon:

Have you ever felt that you are not sure that God is with you, even though you desperately need Him?  Have you ever asked the question, does God really exist?  What proof do with have, aside from “direct revelation” that we do have a God, the intelligent designer of life, that he does truly exist?  Is God always with me?  Us?

Can we be sure, that God is close to us, even in the terrible times?  Is God near to everyone on earth?  How do we get to be near to Him?  Who is God near to?  Can God ever depart/withdraw from a believer?

But what if I don’t feel Him, don’t see Him, been in affliction a long time, in great distress, and He has not come to save me – is He with me even then, Pastor?  Have I sinned in some way and He is far off?  Where do we look when all our senses fail us?

The Church – Cruise Ship or Battleship ? – Sermon – February 16 2014

Questions coming soon

Scriptures used in Sermon:

2 Timothy: 4,

Keywords: Rebuke those who teach false teaching, Correct and encourage, judging others, righteous judging, judging rightly, false teachers will come and teach false doctrine, judge these false teachers who teach apostasy, evil teachers, antichrists, anti-christs, 2 Timothy: 4 Paul tells us that we must judge those teachers that teach false doctrine, who just tickle our ears, who do not teach sound doctrine or the truth , many will turn away from the truth and will go to churchs that only say what the listeners itching ears want to hear.  Those going to these churchs will turn their ears away from the truth and instead listen to myths and lies, false prophets, 2 Timothy : 4    In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

How Can Thanksgiving Set Me Free ? – Sermon – February 09 2014

Questions answered in the Sermon: In John 6, Jesus feeds 5000 people on the hill from just five barley loaves of bread and two fish.  What is so significant and important, just before that miracle?

What do you think Jesus is teaching us about this thanks that he gave?  Why is it important for us to give thanks to God-even in the midst of a seemingly impossible situation like that one, even when God has not yet done something for us, to save us?

How does giving thanks change our circumstances?  Why is it the right thing for us to do?  And what does giving thanks have to do with God stirring up His power to come and save us?  How does giving thanks to God change the things inside of us?  How does giving thanks change things outside us?

Can I Trust the Lord to Provide ? – Sermon – February 02 2014

Can I Trust the Lord to Provide ? – Sermon – February 02 2014

Questions answered in the Sermon:

Will God also indeed provide for you in all things you need in this life?  And how about especially in those situations that you deem impossible – a financial crisis, a health crisis, a ministry crisis, a spiritual crisis?  Will He provide for you at that time as well?

And will He provide for you a salvation and a future and a home in his kingdom?  And will you trust Him to do all these things for you?  Does God try to test our hearts with overwhelming situations?  How can we use and learn from these tests?

Does this mean that whenever we face a crisis that we should sit back and do nothing, and wait for God to save you?   Why can we trust Him always to provide for us in all our needs, according to His timing and choice?

Listen for these questions and answers about Can I Trust the Lord to Provide ?, below in the 1-part Video ,  or the one-part MP3 Audio Sermon (coming soon is the MP3)
